Moving timers:
see also Properties: group name
Any time you're moving timers, holding the Shift key down causes all the timers to the right of the currently active timer to move by the same amount. If you are using the number keys on the top row of the keyboard, holding the Alt key down while you do causes them to move to the left.
By Selection: Make a selection around a number of timers then left mouse and drag any of the selection.
By group: All timers belonging to a group can be moved by left mouse and drag any one of the group.
Note: To move a grouped timer independently of the group - Ctrl+left mouse click to make it selected then left mouse and drag.
The priority of moving timers is as listed above - left shift and drag, by selection then by group.
Tip: It's tempting to try to set timers to exact times, don't unless it really matters. Plus or minus ten seconds isn't going to ruin anything.
Tip: If you're having difficulty selecting the time you want because it's in between 'jumps' you can change the snap or 'jump' size in seconds. See Options>Snap.
Tip: If the Options>Snap. value is what you want but the movement is a bit fine; set the View>Scale to a higher level.
Using the mouse:
By far the easiest way to move timers is by using the mouse. Simply left click and drag the timer to it's new position/time. The exact time (to 1 second) is displayed centered and above the timer being moved. How fine an adjustment you can make depends on the current snap. For most purposes 100% zoom is more than adequate.
Using the keyboard:
A number of keyboard shortcuts are available; namely:
1:6 at the top of the keyboard (not the num pad) moves the active timer:
1 Minute, 30 seconds, 20 seconds, 15 seconds, 12 seconds and 10 seconds respectively (1/n). Holding the Alt key down while pressing the 1:6 keys causes the timer to move to the left (earlier). Holding the Ctrl key down moves the timer 10* the above amounts.
If you need a more accurate setting than either the mouse or keyboard will allow, the Pointer properties dialog will allow you to set the exact time.
