Setting Alarm types:

The default for any new alarm is determined by the settings in Options>Alarm Defaults>.... By default these are set to Sound and Dialog. Any changes you make to these defaults are stored when the program closes.

For existing alarms, right click over an alarm and from the menu choose Alarms (...)>... select or deselect the type you want.

If there's a selection, the part in (...) will indicate the current alarms for the selected timer. If you change the alarm type it will be applied to all in the selection.

If the selected timer is part of a group you will be given the option of applying the changes to all timers in that group.
