How times are displayed:

There are two display modes for the time indicated below the pointers; set in Options>'Show times from now' or by clicking the Show times before toolbutton or by pressing 'T' or 't' on the keyboard. When this is checked, the time beneath the pointers is the time from now. When it's unchecked the time displayed is the time from the last pointer. This enables you to work backwards or forwards; ie., You can either set the first alarm to go off some time from 'now' - or - you can set the last alarm (when the meal is to be ready) and work backwards.
